Over the last 8 months, The Jones Center has been working with Denver-based Landscape Architecture firm, Civitas Inc., to develop a dynamic vision for the 52-acre Jones Center Campus in downtown Springdale. Through an expansive public engagement phase, we’ve listened to the community’s important ideas/input. Now, the Campus Vision Plan is moving into the detailed design phase.
We invite you to meet members of the newly expanded design team on Thursday, November 11 from 4PM – 8PM on the Jones Campus. Guests can access parking on the east side of The Jones Center. Explore various design elements like Light, Ecology, Recreation, Play, Architecture and Art at various pop-up exhibits and hands-on stations. In addition, kids will enjoy a cornrow maze, sensory play tubs, and interactive sound & art activities. We’ll have a special native plant giveaway.
Enjoy a variety of complimentary foods like: Pizza from The Odd Soul, sliders from Big Sexy Food, Marshallese-inspired BBQ from Street lakwe Eulala, veggie/vegan food from Brightwater: The Study of Food, India Dhaba and Tacqueria Mexico. Enjoy music and live performances Gente Privada, Estilo Rancho Viejo, Big Piph, L.I.F.E., Mark Harmony, DJ Afrosia, Jordan Strickland and Matt Magerkurth. At 7PM, guests will view a “sneak peek” video of the new Jones Campus Vision."
